Chas. S. Paisler Building Supplies
on the Former The Location of The "Ark"

160 North WaterSt. - New Bedford, Ma. - 1836

After the infamous Ark burned. See 1820 - 1829 history) This refers to the second "Ark" in 1829.

This building was built on the same location, 160 North Water Street, New Bedford Ma.

It was built in 1836 by William W. Swain. The location was later used by Charles S. Paisler for his masonry supply business.

In the 1919 Directory, it appears that Charles took on a partner
as the listing reads: PAISLER & WILLIS MASONS' BUILDING MATERIAL
